Day 8 3.8.2011 – Pitch, Putt and Fry

Hello all,
Woke up this morning to a quite Vancouver, walking towards the waterfront it is much cooler than NYC, with the nice sea breeze and due to less traffic much cleaner and more peaceful. We had Subway for breakfast! It was a good way to start the day and we headed down to the waterfront and took a walk along. We decided to do pitch and putt in the park just off downtown Vancouver, here are the scores:

Steven the resounding winner!!!!
So that was a lot of fun, then we went down to the lower floor of the hotel to go for a swim as it was getting pretty hot, and the pool was great, quite small but as the hotel has a spa it was a good temperature and nice to relax.
Tonight we are going out to a restaurant called ‘Kobe’,  it is one of those places where the chefs cook in front of you, it is a Japanese steak and seafood kind of place, so we will see how that turns out.

Supplemental – The restaurant and the Fireworks
Well that was an experience and a half....the chef was amazing, flinging his knifes about and creating massive flames with the food. It was all good fun and an experience we will never forget. We recorded the whole thing and I will try to edit the video and upload it.
We also got told about the huge firework display on the beach so we headed down to the shore front to what one of the loudest displays I have ever seen!!! Fantastic colours and explosions that were well choreographed.
This is me signing off again .....J
